I just finished watching the absolute BEST Olympics opening show ever, how wonderful, colorful, awesome, beautiful, magnificent!  I can’t think of enough words to describe it.  The whole opening ceremony was a work of art from start to finish…even seeing the teams march in, all smiles in spite of the 90 degree heat, was a joy to watch.  Then the torch lighting, oh my, I’ve never seen anything like it, and I’m a loyal follower of the Olympics.

So after all the sometimes-negative media press, the people of China have shown us their best.  I pray that our President will have a productive visit with the leaders of the Nation, and look forward to watching the events over the coming weeks.
